Check nationality and residency together
Use the official eVisa eligibility service with the nationality shown in the passport and the traveller's residency circumstances. Do this individually for adults and children. Do not assume that a UAE residence visa gives every nationality the same entitlement to enter Oman.
Review the travel documents

Confirm vehicle permission and insurance
If you plan to use a rented, financed or borrowed car, ask the owner or provider whether it may cross into Oman and what written permission is needed. Ask the insurer to confirm the applicable Oman coverage. A tour booking does not create permission for the vehicle.
Leave time for border formalities
Agree the cruise departure and meeting point only after checking your transport plan. Processing times can vary, so keep a margin before boarding and after the journey. For an arranged transfer, ask exactly which documents you must carry and whether any quoted charges are included or payable separately.
